My name is Caleb Storkey and I’ve fallen in love with Empire Avenue. I love the game, the buzz, the excitement and most importantly the chance to connect with people……like you!
I love the concept, the possibilities and the potential of where EA may lead. And I also love the fact that so many other people also have a mutual appreciation, love, and dare I say addiction to EA. However much energy and focus I try to give it, there are those who are on it almost 24 hours a day. I thought I was hooked on it, but some of you operate in a different league ;)
When I first got hooked on EA, I started off with these three blog posts:

But I found I hadn’t even begun scratching where I was itching, so I’ve decided to dedicate a whole load more time to the exploration of Empire Avenue thoughts. I want to have a space where I could share EA excitement with others, without clogging up my blog www.calebstorkey.net with EA Blog Posts which would risk alienating other readers who were not quite into it in the same way I was.

So here we are. Empire Avenue TV. What do I hope to do through this blog?
Tips. Information to help you get better at performing on Empire Avenue. Some of this I will create, some of it will be links to great content that is out there and some of it will be guest posts.
Interviews. Get the lowdown from key successful players, interesting social media personalities, the EA team and people you want to hear from. I will make it my mission, to get myself in front of the people that I think have something interesting to say to you. Some of these will be in video, audio and written format.
Thoughts. I’m a thinker and I like to connect ideas together. So at times I will be completely self indulgent and explore a few thoughts about how EA fits into the Social Media landscape, affects relationships, businesses, humanity, and online interactivity. I’m in the Psychology index, and I often look at social networks through a lens of how it affects people.
News. Empire Avenue is moving fast, and things are changing everyday. I hope to provide you with an update of key bits of Empire Avenue news as it comes.

Although I will be putting a lot of energy into Empire Avenue, I still have to make a living and so I will also be doing my day job (consulting, writing, training, speaking). I also have a beautiful wife and baby Iona to love and look after…. and a bunch of non EA friends that I really would like to see :). So have expectations of interaction, but having once been an EA addict, I’m not going to be so absorbed I lose those other important things.
